{"id":10671,"date":"2025-06-23T13:36:01","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T12:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cgf.janz.pt\/?p=10671"},"modified":"2025-06-23T14:11:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T13:11:14","slug":"sit-is-gold-for-ecovadis-improves-cdp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cgf.janz.pt\/en\/sit-is-gold-for-ecovadis-improves-cdp\/","title":{"rendered":"SIT is Gold for EcoVadis &#038; Improves CDP (CARBON DISCLOSURE PROJECT) score"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><em>Environment, rights and ethics place SIT in the 3% of companies with the highest scores in the world,\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><em>among the 150,000 evaluated by EcoVadis, while CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project)\u00a0<\/em><em>raises the rating of the italian multinational.<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>SIT, a multinational listed on the Euronext Milan segment which JANZ is part of, is a leader in the residential heating and smart metering sector and creates smart solutions for controlling environmental conditions and measuring consumption.<\/p>\n<p>For SIT &amp; JANZ, this is more than a confirmation, given that <strong>the overall score was 78 out of 100<\/strong>, higher than that obtained in 2024.\u00a0<strong>A rating that places it in the 3% of companies in the world that are most committed to sustainability<\/strong>, a group that is further reduced within the sector to which it belongs, where SIT is part of the most sustainable 2%.<\/p>\n<p>The overall score is made up of the ratings obtained in four areas: environment, labor practices and human rights, sustainable purchasing and ethics. Compared to 2024, the most significant increase in score was on the ethics front, where SIT gained seven points (from 60 to 67 points).<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 2024, SIT\u2019s sustainability performance also improved in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) rating<\/strong>, one of the main non-profit organizations for environmental measurement and reporting, which includes 85% of S&amp;P500 companies and 93% of FTSE companies. CDP ratings range from D- to A and SIT \u2013 which joined the \u201cClimate Change\u201d program for the third time \u2013\u00a0<strong>obtained a B rating, improving on the previous score of C<\/strong>, while in the \u201cWater\u201d program it debuted with a B-.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvaluations and ratings by independent bodies place SIT among the companies that are most committed to translating sustainability into everyday actions,\u201d explains\u00a0<strong>Chiara de\u2019 Stefani, Corporate Sustainability Director of SIT.<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cIn 2022, we launched our first \u201cMade to Matter\u201d sustainability plan and since then we have implemented its vision with consistency: not only have we confirmed our commitment to the ESG front, but we have intensified it, obtaining ever greater recognition.
